Pinterest is an AMAZING platform for showcasing your brand, and we’re here to help you make the most of it by sharing three easy things you can do to guarantee success!
Whether you’re new to the platform or just looking to improve your strategy, these easy tips will give your profile the boost it needs.
Let’s go through them together!
1. OPTIMISE YOUR PROFILE
First things thing: you want to make sure your profile is fully optimised and looking its best!
If you haven’t already, claim your website to unlock analytics and other features that help you track your success.
When it comes to your bio, aim for a few sentences that clearly communicate what your brand is all about. Try using a formula like: “We create [what you offer] for [your target audience] to [the benefit they get].”
And, don't forget to include relevant keywords that reflect your niche, like “handmade jewellery” or “eco-friendly home decor.” This will help users find you more easily!
Make sure you also have a high-quality header image and logo that represent your brand visually. Consistency is key, so use colours and fonts that match your overall aesthetic.
2. CREATE 10 BOARDS THAT MATTER

Once your profile is looking good, it’s time to think about boards.
Aim to create at least 10 boards that align with the top products you offer and what people are actively looking for. This might include product categories like “Jewellery,” or “Hair Accessories,” as seen above!
You can also link to relevant blog posts that dive deeper into these topics. For instance, if you have a blog on how to style your products, create a board dedicated to that theme! This approach not only showcases your products but also positions you as an expert in your field, driving even more traffic back to your website.
3. PIN CONSISTENLY
Finally, consistency is key! Aim to have at least one pin going out per day, pinned to the most relevant board. You can easily schedule up to 50 pins at once on Pinterest, so take advantage of that feature.
Start with your existing content, like Reels (just remember to remove the watermark!) and product photos. Make sure they’re resized to the correct Pinterest ratio, which is typically a 2:3 aspect ratio. When you create your pins, add keywords to the title and description, and don’t forget to include a direct link for users to shop!
By maintaining this daily pinning habit, you’ll keep your content fresh and relevant, which is crucial since these pins can generate traffic for years to come.
